Today there are 13 free-flight clubs in Cuba, they are located in the provinces of Havana, Villa Clara, Ciego de Avila, Las Tunas, Camaguey, Granma, Holguin, Santiago de Cuba, Guantanamo the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud. The organization created to manage and develop the free flight in Cuba is the Cuban Federation of Free Flight ascribed to the Aviation Club de Cuba, which controls air sports in general (parachuting, model aircraft, sport aviation and gliding).
Almost all of the teams that have reached us fly through the goodwill of foreign pilots who visit us and decide to give part of their equipment.
